Birth control and Antibiotics question?

YES antibiotics counteract birth control pills/patches/any with hormones and WILL make them ineffective. Taking them on the sugar pilss does nothing to the sugar pills but it can effect what's already been absorbed in your body. You're probably not pregnant but if you'd like to stay that way I suggest using condoms throughout the use of your antibiotics AND two weeks after they've stopped so that the hormones can build back up in your system and stop your ovulation.
