Is it funny that some people believe Cavs would have gotten good free agents if Bron told them he was leaving?
The main argument against Bron was that the timing of it did not allow Cavs to find replacement players or make trades. However, what they fail to realize is that because of other bad contracts (Jamison, Mo Williams, Anderson Varejao) they would have been unable to bring any key free agents since they were close to over the cap if Bron left. No other team wanted their sh1tty and overpriced players. Also Bron was smart the only way he was going to leave Cleveland to go elsewhere to win would be if he had a cast that was strong enough to get to the Championship so he was smart to let Bosh and Wade set the tone and then make his move afterwards.
